Job Description
As a Navy Chaplain, you will support and uplift Sailors and Marines during their most pivotal moments. You'll provide spiritual guidance, conduct worship services, and oversee religious education programs, making a significant impact on the morale and well-being of service members.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct worship services in various settings
Perform religious rites and ceremonies such as weddings and funerals
Counsel individuals seeking guidance
Oversee religious education programs
Provide spiritual guidance and care to hospitalized personnel and their families
Train lay leaders for religious education
Advise leaders on morale, ethics, and spiritual well-being
Required Qualifications
U.S. citizen or equivalent
Graduate degree in theological or related studies from an accredited educational institution
Two years of full-time religious leadership experience
Ability to obtain an Ecclesiastical Endorsement from a religious faith organization registered with the Department of Defense
