Travel Nursing Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/16/2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiovascular Lab (85% Interventional Radiology / 15% Cardiology)
• Shift: 8-hour days (07:30 – 16:00), Monday–Friday
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2160–$2320
• Call Requirement: Rotating call coverage, including weekday evenings and one weekend per month
• Patient Ratio: 1:3–4
• Unit Orientation: 16 hours
• Scrubs: Provided

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN and Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or compact state (must be in hand by start date)
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS
• Proficiency with Epic electronic charting system
• Ability to scrub, circulate, and provide telemetry support in a clinical setting
• Experience with STEMI call coverage
• Interventional Radiology experience is required
• First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply!

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care for interventional radiology, invasive cardiology, peripheral vascular, and EP device implant procedures
• Participate in weekly rotation covering all services, including 24/7 call for STEMI, emergent, and urgent IR/cardiology procedures
• Respond to urgent/emergent cardiology and IR cases with a 30-minute callback time for STEMIs
• Operate specialized equipment such as MAC Lab, IVUS, Toshiba Angio Lab, Angio Jet, and more
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and social services
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic
• Comply with all hospital policies, including fatigue and scheduling guidelines
