Job Description
Join BJ's Wholesale Club as a Part-Time Licensed Optician where you'll dispense optical products and provide outstanding member service. Work in a collaborative environment that values growth and inclusion while helping members find the right eyewear for their needs.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense spectacles and other optical products
Advise and assist patients with lenses and frames
Verify order data entry and compare prescriptions
Provide excellent member service in person and over the phone
Educate patients on available products
Assist Optical Manager with opening and closing procedures
Required Qualifications
Must be licensed to work as an optician within the State
Attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills
Organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of optical products and business practices
High school diploma or college degree
Experience in big box wholesale, retail, and/or optical
