Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and register patients in a prompt and helpful manner
  • Instruct, direct, and schedule patients and visitors
  • Receive payments and issue receipts
  • Communicate with clinical staff regarding appointment status
  • Verify insurance eligibility and coverage
  • Maintain supply inventories and office organization

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of customer service or healthcare related experience
  • Intermediate level of computer proficiency
  • Experience as a receptionist in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of EPIC scheduling experience
  • Experience working with an electronic health record
