The Optum Health Informatics Division seeks a health informaticist to support the delivery of informatics services to one of our Market Performance Partners (MPPs). The scope of health informatics services includes education and training, new hire onboarding, clinical workflow support, workflow development/enhancement, and ensure our end users overall mastery of the electronic health record and associated technologies.
They will support the implementation of various new technology/innovative projects, ensure workflows are developed to drive efficiency and adoption of new technology, proactively looking for efficiencies and workflow enhancements, and using data to drive adoption of technology workflows leading to maximum value realization for our care teams.
We are seeking an experienced Health Informaticist with electronic health record and clinical workflow experience who wants to be part of an innovative and forward-thinking team. Provide direct onsite client-facing support as a health informaticist, including on-call support
Support new projects/technology implementations by completing current state assessments, participating in future state design, or providing implementation/adoption support
Proactively use data to assess where there are opportunities to drive adoption of technology
Support health informatics trainers team with the development and roll out of educational content to all end users
Assess opportunities for technology improvements with data in collaboration with clinician feedback to understand workflows, define problems, and recommend and implement solutions
Support the development and adoption of standards for evidenced-based care practice and collaborate with the training team to create education or training materials as appropriate
Serve as the client Health Informaticist for optimization solution implementations
Provide action plans for areas where performance is not tracking to target
Collaborate with account delivery leaders to ensure health informatics services are delivered effectively to clients

1+ years of experience working with Epic in an enterprise environment
~ Demonstrated experience leading small to large-scale optimization projects
~ Proficiency in MS Office Suite; Word, PowerPoint, Excel
~ Experience as a Health Informaticist, utilizing data to drive outcomes, improve experience, and efficiencies
~ In-depth knowledge of Epic and the full implementation lifecycle of Epic’s suite of electronic medical record applications from conception through development into production
~ Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and influence others, including working across separate groups to drive commonality and reusability in solutioning
~ Proven h istory of fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion and driving innovation
The salary range for this role is $59,500 to $116,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
