The General Manager for our Valley Metro Paratransit location will work collaboratively with operations, corporate support departments, and transportation providers to ensure the most appropriate and cost-effective delivery of transportation services. Provide a proactive management approach and environment - shall work cooperatively with RPTA staff in matters relating to service quality, providing operational and other data described in RFP, responding to comments from passengers and the public, and responding to specific requests for other assistance as the need arises. Provide effective operation design, scheduling and management Provide complete and accurate data collection, compilation, analysis, and reporting Ensure effective environmental compliance and sustainability management Contract oversight and facilitation of client needs with anticipation of growth Identify potential risk and develop resolution processes Employee training and development Thorough understanding of the contract, MTM Transit policies and employee handbook guidelines Develop a working relationship with client to ensure exceptional customer service needs and problem resolution processes are in place Good understanding or local climate needs and issues pertaining to the passenger transportation industry Thorough understanding of ridership policies to ensure smooth transportation services Capability of addressing any questions / concerns regarding site transit program Monitor performance of direct reports and provide coaching and guidance High school diploma or G.Bachelors degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience ~10+ years of experience as a successful General Manager to have experience of a project of similar size and scope. Less experience may be considered with proven performance ~ Experience managing a site of 100+ employees ~ Previous management experience in the Para-Transit or livery industries ~ Prior contract and or project management experience preferred ~ Experience monitoring the delivery of contractual services ~ Ability to acquire in-depth knowledge of MTM Transit operations, company policies, and guidelines Data analysis Understanding of budget and cost analysis Moderate to advanced computer skills Ability working with data reporting and analytics Health and Life Insurance Plans ~ Dental and Vision Plans ~Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay ~ Casual Dress Environment ~ Tuition Reimbursement This information reflects the base salary pay range for this job based on current national market data.
