Key Responsibilities
Administer the physical therapy treatment plan developed by the Physical Therapist
Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients
Accurately document patient records and submit clinical paperwork
Attend educational meetings and contribute to department in-services
Notify supervisor of equipment failures and supply needs
Schedule clients and perform office tasks
Apply infection control and universal precautions
Accept clinical assignments consistent with education and competence
Required Qualifications
Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association
Current state license to practice Physical Therapy
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
Proof of current CPR certification
Minimum two years experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
Comprehensive knowledge of physical, emotional, social, and biological changes in the geriatric population
Self-directed and enthusiastic
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally
Must read, write, and speak fluent English
