Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive, diagnostic echocardiography imaging
Ensure patient-centered care during echocardiograms
Prepare preliminary echo reports
Participate in outreach clinics and on-call duties
Collaborate with team members for optimal patient imaging
Assist in equipment maintenance and quality control
Engage in continuing education

Required Qualifications

One to nine years of experience in inpatient/outpatient cardiac ultrasound
New Mexico State Licensure under the New Mexico Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program (NMRTT)
Current BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited program in cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography)
ARDMS or CCI credential with specialties in RDCS (AE), PE, RCS, RCCS, and RDCS (FE)
ACS certification
