Job Description
As a Kitchen Manager at Torchy's Tacos, you'll oversee all Back of House operations, ensuring a safe and clean kitchen while fostering a culture of excellence. You'll lead a passionate team, manage food costs, and drive food quality to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
Managing food costs and inventory
Hiring and staffing BOH Team Members
Creating BOH Team Member schedules
Ensuring proper food preparation and portioning
Developing action plans for operations and food quality
Motivating and leading team members
Running daily operations
Required Qualifications
3+ years of kitchen management experience
State alcohol-server certification
Manager ServSafe Certification
High-level understanding of training and development concepts
Ability to foster teamwork
Leadership skills
Oral and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Ability to stand for several hours and walk for long periods
Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects
