Key Responsibilities
Oversee nuclear power generating operations and direct Reactor Operators
Authorize maintenance and testing activities
Implement Emergency Operating procedures
Evaluate and respond to operational issues
Create and review Emergency Operating Procedures
Direct operating shift personnel
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Pass the Plant Operator Selection System (POSS) and Basic Math and Science Test (BMST)
Complete a FLS Leadership Assessment
1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a non-comparable facility
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or physical sciences
Experience in supervisory roles in nuclear operations
