Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (Float Team)

We’re looking for experienced Labor & Delivery RNs to join our WEST Float Team . This unique role gives you the flexibility to float across different units, bringing your L&D expertise where it’s needed most. What You’ll Do:

• Provide comprehensive care through the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages.
• Use critical thinking to manage complex patient situations with confidence and compassion.
• Administer medications, maintain sterile technique, and ensure patient safety at every step.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and mentor newer nurses when needed.

What You’ll Bring:

• Active RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact).
• BLS and NRP required; ACLS required; PALS preferred.
• At least 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience (L&D experience highly valued).
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.

Education:

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree required.
• BSN preferred.
• National certification in specialty a plus.
