Job Description

Join Boeing as a Project Management Specialist for the KC-46 Pegasus Tanker Program and lead impactful projects supporting training and fleet integration. Collaborate with a diverse team to enhance operations and maintenance for the U.S. Air Force and its allies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for complex projects
  • Assists with managing the development, production, and sustainment of KC-46 Maintenance Training Systems
  • Supports the proposal development process by establishing proposal plans and coordinating functional inputs
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives
  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion
  • Develops solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience with Program Management or Project Management Best Practices
  • 1+ years’ experience with Government acquisition and proposal development processes
  • 1+ years’ experience leading teams in a formal or informal role
  • 1+ years’ experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively across functions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or higher or equivalent military experience
  • Knowledge of U.S. Air Force or international government aviation training practices
  • Knowledge of U.S. Air Force or international government aviation maintenance practices
  • Experience with U.S. Air Force acquisition process and execution of USAF contracts
  • Experience with the KC-46A Pegasus or other large, fixed wing aircraft
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Project, etc.
