? Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for the Float Pool at a Level 1 Trauma Center . This role will primarily staff the ED, providing high-quality care to trauma and emergency patients, with occasional float coverage to acute units.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar high-volume ED , strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

? Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a busy Level 1 ED.
• May float to acute care units as needed.
• Perform triage, assessments, and emergency interventions per department protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments safely.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Document accurately in EMR and maintain compliance with hospital policies.
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and quality of care at all times.

? Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ED experience at a similar-sized Level 1 Trauma Center.
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC certifications – Required.
• Must provide resume with no gaps , ED skills checklist , and ED references .
• Able to float to acute units if necessary.
