13 Weeks | Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Evenings)
Schedule: 5x8s |40 Hours/Week | EOW + Rotating Holidays
Must be willing to float to adult unit as needed

Join a dedicated behavioral health team caring for children and adolescents (ages 5–17) in a secure, supportive inpatient setting. This unit provides acute psychiatric care for youth experiencing mood disorders, neurodevelopmental conditions, and crises requiring close clinical support.

Unit Details:

• Unit Size: 26 beds

• Staffing Ratios:

  • Days/Evenings: 4 RNs | ~1:6–7

  • Nights: 1 RN for entire unit

• Patient Types: Mood disorders, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation, Suicidal Ideation, ADD/ADHD

Requirements:

• CT RN License – active

• CPI & BLS (AHA)– hospital offers on-site training if needed

• 1+ year of recent inpatient psych experience (preferably with pediatric/adolescent population)

• EPIC experience preferred

• BSN preferred , ASN accepted
