Job Description & Requirements

Duties:

• Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs and overall condition.
• Provide care to patients who are more stable than ICU but still require close observation.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage cardiac drips, post-surgical patients, and those with complex medical conditions.
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment such as cardiac monitors, ventilators, and infusion pumps.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals in creating and following care plans.
• Respond promptly to changes in patients’ conditions and intervene as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatments, and post-hospital care.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in the EMR.
• Support patient recovery, encourage mobility, and promote overall well-being.
