An ICU Registered Nurse working night shifts under the supervision of the Head Nurse, providing comprehensive nursing care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsible for the care of individual patients or entire patient populations in critical care settings. Requires a nursing degree, relevant certifications, and recent professional nursing experience.
Description:
Under the direct supervision of the designated Head Nurse, demonstrates proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contributes to the nursing assessment and the development of the nursing care plan, and participates in the evaluation of nursing care. Shares responsibility for individual patients or an entire patient population.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred.
Minimum of six (6) months' recent experience as a professional nurse.
Required Skills Demonstrated proficiency of 50 percent of the skills required for Level II.
Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR current or within 30 days of hire
ACLS current or within 1 year of hire
PALS current or within 1 year of hire
Completion of a Basic Arrhythmia Class within in 1 year of hire
Required Licenses Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state.
