We are seeking a highly skilled and independent CT Technologist to join our Radiology Department on the night shift. This role requires a confident professional with strong CT experience, the ability to float between CT and X-ray, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered imaging services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders, hospital protocols, and safety standards.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and proper technique.
- Operate CT scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions or complications.
- Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic results.
- Float between CT and X-ray departments as scheduled.
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols.
- Participate in on-call rotation and assist in surgical procedures using C-Arm when needed.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience floating between CT and X-ray
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Dual experience in CT and X-ray
- Familiarity with OR procedures using C-Arm
Required Certifications:
- BLS – Basic Life Support
- CPI / HWC / MAB – Crisis Prevention or equivalent behavioral safety training
- ARRT (CT) certification
- Certification/licensure required to practice as a CT Technologist in North Carolina
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Must meet all educational and licensure requirements to practice as a CT Technologist in North Carolina
Float Requirements:
- Must be willing and able to float between CT and X-ray departments per scheduled rotation
