*Overview*

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will assist in surgical operations, ensuring a safe and sterile environment for patients and medical staff.

*Responsibilities*
* Prepare operating rooms for surgery, including sterilizing equipment and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
* Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
* Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgical procedure
* Handle specimens for laboratory analysis
* Manage surgical equipment and instruments post-surgery
* Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort

*Skills*
* Proficient in anatomy and physiology knowledge
* Ability to provide excellent patient care in high-pressure environments such as the ICU or operating room (OR)
* Knowledge of hospital medicine practices, including infection control protocols
* Strong analytical skills to assist in complex surgical procedures
* Familiarity with medical-surgical terminology and procedures
* Proficiency in suturing techniques for wound closure

*Required:*

BLS/CPR required

Active MA license

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $57.00 - $62.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
