Job Description

Join ChanceLight as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of Middle and High School students. You will provide tailored clinical and educational support, train educational staff, and ensure compliance with educational standards in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to teachers and educational staff
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of academic and behavioral services
  • Support staff in effective instructional practices to ensure student progression
  • Assess professional development needs of educational staff
  • Participate in staff development activities
  • Train and coach school employees in crisis management systems
  • Assist in recruitment and training of behavior specialists
  • Research and recommend evidence-based curricula
  • Develop and supervise systems to meet individualized needs of students
  • Conduct regular quality assurance assessments
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and internal standards

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in applied behavior analysis, behavioral therapy or a closely related field
  • Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) credential
  • Well-versed in applied behavior analysis (ABA) including positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS)
  • Prior experience in special education services and compliance
  • Highly skilled in working with individuals with severe learning and emotional behavioral disorders
  • Prior experience in crisis management systems and intervention
  • Ability to think and act quickly and calmly in an emergency
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a special education credential
