Job Description

Focus Staff is seeking a highly motivated Travel Echo Technologist to conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations in Philadelphia, PA. This 13-week contract offers a competitive pay package and the opportunity to work in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct multi-specialty diagnostic ultrasound examinations
  • Work under the direction of the Manager, Ultrasound Services and Medical Director of Vascular Laboratory
  • Collaborate with experienced staff sonographers within the regional ultrasound program

Required Qualifications

  • Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiologic/Ultrasound Technology program
  • National certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent
  • BLS certification
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience
  • Effective communication and human relations skills
  • Completed AHA ACLS Provider Course within 12 months of employment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advance certification by accrediting body in specialty, RVT/RCS/RDCS or equivalent for Cardiac/Vascular
  • CCRN preferred
  • Skilled Nursing experience
  • Psychiatric or mental health hospital or outpatient clinic experience
  • RN with diploma or associates degree with 2 years experience in an active treatment unit
