Job Description
Join SimonMed Imaging, the fastest growing outpatient radiology practice, as a Mammography Technologist. You'll operate advanced equipment, perform procedures, and educate patients on breast health, all while working with a dedicated team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Operates mammography equipment and performs various mammography related procedures.
Develops and evaluates the film for technical quality such as density contrast, definition, and distortion.
Explains procedures and educates women about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health.
Prepares and maintains records and files, and cleans and adjusts equipment as needed.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Works under general supervision.
Performs a variety of tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Registration as a Radiologic and Mammography Technologist by the A.R.R.T.
Current Radiology and Mammography license in the State
Valid hands-on CPR certification
