Job Description
Join Pilgrim’s as a Live Receiving Supervisor on the Night Shift, where you will lead a team in achieving performance goals while ensuring safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
Hires, trains, coaches, and motivates employee team members
Directs and monitors the operations of the department
Promotes department and company goodwill through proactive employee communication
Schedules people, materials, and equipment effectively
Responsible for the performance evaluation process for the department
Monitors equipment and quality checks to assure standards are maintained
Promotes safe work habits and conducts safety audits
Required Qualifications
Considerable knowledge of process operations and practices
Strong ability to analyze and solve production problems
Ability to lead and coach employees
Good English verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills required (e-mail, time & attendance)
Valid Pilgrim’s Pallet jack license or ability to obtain
Class A CDL or ability to obtain within 6 months
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university
Bi-lingual skills desired
Intermediate computer skills (spreadsheet and word processing)
