Job Description

The CMU Director is responsible for managing customer relationships and driving sales growth through strategic partnerships with C-suite executives. This role involves executing growth plans, coordinating customer initiatives, and ensuring alignment with corporate strategies for optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage customer relationships to drive sales growth
  • Develop and execute sales strategy for customer portfolio
  • Build and maintain partnerships at multiple customer levels
  • Coordinate complex customer requests and initiatives
  • Analyze mutual customer/Sysco value in the Supply Chain
  • Manage day-to-day customer interactions and problem resolution

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • 7+ years prior outside foodservice account management or B2B sales experience
  • Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets Company insurability standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with customer service management
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Expert in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years prior foodservice account management or B2B sales experience within restaurant or GPO background
  • Demonstrated experience with and working knowledge of Sysco customers
  • Knowledge of Sysco Products, ordering procedures, and credit terms
