Key Responsibilities
Perform inspection, diagnosis, and preventative maintenance on diesel heavy trucks
Repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems
Utilize diagnostic software to interpret failure modes and initiate repairs
Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with standards
Assist with emergency breakdowns as needed
Required Qualifications
3+ years’ experience as a heavy-duty Diesel Mechanic
Valid driver’s license required
Experience with engine and transmission maintenance and repairs
Ability to speak and read English
Must provide own tools
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and meet safety requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Hydraulics experience
Experience with diagnostic software such as Premium Tech Tool (Mack)
Yellow Iron experience
Working knowledge of DOT and OSHA standards
