Key Responsibilities
Provide preoperative care of Soldiers and their families
Administer anesthetics during surgical procedures
Assist in emergency situations and humanitarian missions
Participate in continued education programs and trainings
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school
Current license to practice medicine in the U.S., D.C. or Puerto Rico
Eligibility for board certification
Completion of at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
Completion of a training program in anesthesiology
U.S. citizenship for Active Duty or permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in anesthesia, intensive care medicine, emergency medicine, and pain management
