Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepares patients and adjusts equipment for MRI procedures
  • Performs MRI procedures accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinates daily schedules for efficiency and assesses exam completion
  • Assists with staff/student training and orientation
  • Maintains records required for the MRI area
  • Consults with radiologists and other patient-care personnel regarding exams

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school
  • Radiography (R) - ARRT Certification upon hire
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) - ARRT Certification upon hire
  • Less than 1 year experience in radiologic and MRI terminology, practices, and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years training/experience in MRI
