Job Description

Join Optum as a Help Desk/Technical Support Associate, where you'll provide vital IT support to healthcare providers, ensuring they have the tools needed to deliver excellent care. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site IT support for clinicians and practice managers
  • Serve as the escalation contact for technical assistance
  • Install and maintain workstations, printers, and other devices
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Direct activities of outside contract resources
  • Ensure security of IT assets and data
  • Manage escalations from the Help Desk
  • Perform end-user training

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full-time work experience in Information Technology
  • 3+ years of experience with providing IT Desktop Support
  • 3+ years of experience in installing software applications and performing hardware upgrades
  • 3+ years of experience in installing and supporting networked devices
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products, Windows Operating System, and Cisco Hardware
  • Asset management experience
  • Effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong deductive skills in analyzing problematic systems
  • Ability to prioritize and execute on multiple projects in a high-pressure environment
