Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel CVOR Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Margate, Florida. This role offers the chance to make a positive impact on patients' lives while enjoying competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Set up the operating room prior to surgical procedures
Stock surgical supplies and inspect surgical machines and equipment
Assist in transporting patients to and from surgery as required
Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver coordinated care
Anticipate the surgeon’s needs and efficiently pass instruments
Handle specimens with precision and care
Maintain sterility by cleaning and sterilizing instruments
Utilize data from surgical preference cards for procedures
Maintain proficiency in cardiovascular surgical procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Adhere to hospital safety protocols and infection control guidelines
Required Qualifications
One year of recent experience as a CVOR surgical tech
Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
CST or nationally recognized equivalent certification
Other certifications and licenses may be required
