LanceSoft is seeking a local contract nurse RN ED - Emergency Department Director for a local contract nursing job in Marion, North Carolina.
Job Summary and Qualifications
The Director ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s)/department(s) in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. The Director fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives.
What qualifications you will need:
· Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or other approved education plan
· Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Master's Degree
· Required Experience: 1+ years applicable experience
· Preferred Experience: 3+ years applicable experience
· Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
Will accept very recent ED Manager experience
Needs to have accomplishments/metrics listed on resume

15 Bed ER
Volume: 26K A Year
Not a trauma center but it does see high acuity
FTEs: 50
Reporting Structure:
CNO > Director > CNCs (no managers) – CNCs are high performing
They currently have a request for an ER expansion
Reason for opening: former Director had to relocate to FL for family matters. He took another role with HCA.
