Job Description
Join Columbia Mental Health as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, where you will provide culturally sensitive outpatient therapy and develop individualized treatment plans to support client healing. Key Responsibilities
Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families
Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy
Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, and wellness plans
Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning
Ensure timely completion of billing and documentation
Engage in collaborative care with the team
Required Qualifications
Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field
Current and active professional license in Virginia and/or Maryland (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP)
Passionate about mental health and committed to providing high-quality care
Dedicated to ongoing professional development in mental health
Strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality
Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in outpatient therapy
Ability to manage time effectively
Eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
