Key Responsibilities
Delivers physical therapy treatments to patients of all ages
Teaches patient care classes and groups for specific disorders
Communicates outcomes to evaluating therapist and other health professionals
Completes chart documentation as per requirements
Maintains professional competency through continuing education and self-evaluation
Participates in maintaining a clean and organized environment
Required Qualifications
Graduate of accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology appropriate to PTA
Successful completion of clinical internships
High School Diploma or GED
Physical Therapy Assistant License (in the state where care is provided)
Basic Life Support certification within 2 months of hire
Basic skills in PT procedures and treatment
Documentation skills
CPR certified
Preferred Qualifications
One (1) year of clinic experience in comparable setting
