Job Description

Join Zen Educate as a Para Educator and make a difference in the lives of K-12 students with special needs. Collaborate with teachers to provide targeted support and enhance classroom engagement while enjoying a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Provide one-on-one or small group behavioral support
Collaborate with teachers and specialists to create a supportive learning environment
Track and document behavioral data
Communicate with special education staff, behavior analysts, and families
Support students with daily routines

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma
Experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs
Experience providing personal care support
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stay calm and patient in challenging situations
US Work Authorization
English proficiency
Passion for supporting students

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting children with autism or complex emotional needs
Experience in special education, particularly with moderate to severe behaviors
Bachelor’s Degree
Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies
Additional training in behavioral techniques
