Job Description
Join Lincoln Electric as a Mechanical Plant Engineer and play a crucial role in supporting and executing projects across our manufacturing facilities. You'll tackle technical challenges while ensuring compliance with safety, health, quality, and productivity standards, contributing to the sustainability and growth of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate on capital projects for manufacturing facilities
Manage mechanical aspects of projects including design and documentation
Develop engineering solutions to improve equipment reliability and safety
Create and maintain sustainable documentation
Design solutions complying with ISO 14001 and EHS initiatives
Provide capital cost estimates and establish project timelines
Specify and solicit equipment quotations
Deliver technical support to Production and Maintenance departments
Coordinate with process engineering, production, maintenance, and supply management teams
Manage outside engineering and construction personnel
Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental regulations
Assume additional responsibilities as needed
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 3 years of experience
Strong desire to take ownership of tasks
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Good judgment and self-motivation
Commitment to safety
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Flexibility to handle diverse assignments
Hands-on work capability
Technically proficient in CAD modeling (Solid Edge; AutoCAD preferred)
Willingness to work off shifts and travel between facilities
