MedSurg RN – Evening Shift (5x8s)
Location: Manchester, CT
Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (5x8-Hour Evenings)
Start Date: 11/10/2025
Contract Length: 13 weeks 
Local Rule: Candidates within 75 miles are considered local 

Job Description:
Seeking an experienced MedSurg RN for a 27-bed Medical-Surgical unit caring for adult patients. Candidate must be comfortable floating as needed and covering every other weekend.

Patient Population:

• General MedSurg patients
• COPD, ARF, PNA, GI bleeds
• Orthopedic, urology, and gallbladder surgical cases

Required Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 1 year of recent MedSurg/Telemetry experience
• Strong skills in IV starts, phlebotomy, wound care, and telemetry monitoring
• Experience with Rapid Response/Code Teams, feeding tubes, colostomy care, and CBI management

Certifications Required:

• BLS (Required)
• ACLS, CPI (Required)

Other Details:
Float required
Every other weekend coverage
COVID-19 Vaccine + Booster required (Medical/Religious exemptions accepted)
