Key Responsibilities
Test a wide array of materials for compliance to drawings, specifications, and program application.
Work in a wet lab, observing all safety procedures and common lab protocols.
Write scientific reports using generated data to support technical dispositions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Less than 2 years experience in Chemistry
Experience using laboratory equipment (i.e. FTIR, TGA, DSC, SEM/EDS, ovens, thermometers, calipers, and microscopes)
Preferred Qualifications
Chemistry degree (e.g. analytical, general, or organic)
Experience reading and interpreting technical specifications
Understanding of material testing/analysis (hardness, adhesion tests, sample preparation procedures, cross sectioning)
Experience performing and managing high volume, highly technical work
