Job Description
Join BioLife Plasma Services as a Plasma Center Nurse Paramedic, where you will play a vital role in ensuring donor safety and eligibility while collecting life-saving plasma. You will work closely with a dedicated team to manage donor experiences and support medical protocols in a rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
Determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent
Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies
Refer unacceptable findings to Center Physician or Medical Affairs
Support vaccination programs for employees
Manage employee incidents and refer to occupational health/ER
Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Currently licensed or certified as EMT-Paramedic
Current CPR and AED certification
Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy
Two years in a clinical or hospital setting
Preferred Qualifications
Satisfactorily complete the FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
