Key Responsibilities
Oversee and monitor medicine and surgery at the ASPCA’s CVC
Train veterinarians in high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter techniques
Support a positive work culture through regular feedback and coaching
Perform pre-surgery exams and high-quality spay/neuter procedures
Provide compassionate and quality preventive care to underserved areas
Participate in administrative tasks like scheduling and meetings
Required Qualifications
Current California State Veterinary License
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary college
Minimum one year of experience in high quality, high volume spay/neuter
Minimum three years veterinary experience in small animal medicine and surgery
Demonstrate true leadership abilities in challenging situations
Excellent work attendance record
Preferred Qualifications
Previous people management experience
Fear Free® Shelter certification (required within 60 days of hire)
