Key Responsibilities
Obtain accurate and updated patient information
Perform insurance verification on the date of service
Obtain patient signatures for required documents
File and maintain medical records
Confirm and schedule appointments
Answer incoming and outgoing telephone calls promptly
Perform referral documentation promptly
Provide follow-up services for patients
Work cohesively with fellow employees
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and OSHA requirements
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of healthcare related experience
Preferred Qualifications
1+ year(s) of experience in a medical front office position
Knowledge of Epic EMR software
Ability to learn new software (EPIC/EMR)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
