Position Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Psychiatric Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced behavioral health setting in California. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, thrive under pressure, and bring compassion and professionalism to a high-acuity environment.

Assignment Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: Nights (3x12s)
• Block Scheduling: Not available
• Weekends & Holidays: Required
• Float Requirements: Must be flexible
• RTO: Not accepted
• On-Call: None

Requirements

• Licensure/Certifications:
  • Active California RN License (renewal or expedited application may be required)
  • MAB or CPI
  • NIHSS
  • PALS
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • Fire Safety Card
• Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of recent behavioral health ER experience required
  • Psych ER experience required
  • Level 1 Behavioral Health ER experience required
  • Acute care hospital background preferred
  • Travel experience preferred, but not required
• COVID-19 Requirement:
  • Vaccination and booster required if eligible
