Job Description

Join UnitedHealthcare as an Associate Employer Installation Specialist, where you'll play a crucial role in creating and maintaining operational infrastructure for sales and ensuring compliance in healthcare policies. Your work will directly impact the quality of care for millions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Auditing contract loads / policy builds for adherence to quality measures and compliance standards
  • Researching errors by comparing Account Management documentation against multiple internal systems
  • Using analytical and researching techniques to trend or quantify projects
  • Preparing, processing, and maintaining new group implementations and renewals
  • Reconciling reports and group set up discrepancies, analyzing transactional data, and submitting retroactive eligibility changes
  • Researching and responding to benefit and eligibility processing inquiries from Customer Service, Claims, and other internal departments
  • Conducting implementation of assigned accounts, including policy building and infrastructure set up
  • Overall employer contract loading using various databases and/or source documents
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 1+ years of experience in a healthcare industry role involving provider benefit verification and claims issue resolution
  • 1+ years of experience reviewing healthcare policies and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel including data entry, sorting, creating and modifying documents and spreadsheets
  • Must be located within 50 miles from St. Petersburg, FL
  • Ability to work full-time On-Site (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with paying claims
  • Experience with Medical Billing / Coding
  • Experience designing, configuring, or building health plan benefits within a healthcare system or platform or similar industry
