Key Responsibilities
Interprets orders for requested exams and produces CT and diagnostic medical images
Positions and transfers patients, selects proper technical factors
Operates equipment and provides protection in accordance with safety standards
Assists physicians in administering enhancing agents and medications
Maintains current CPR certification and assists in performing first aid as necessary
Required Qualifications
Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training
Experience as determined to be adequate for the position
A.R.R.T. registered or registry eligible upon hire, and A.R.R.T. achieved within six months of employment
Preferred Qualifications
ARRT Advanced Level certification in CT Scan or working towards certification
