Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and register patients in a prompt and pleasant manner
  • Receive payments, issue receipts, and post payment data
  • Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments
  • Verify insurance eligibility and coverage
  • Maintain a neat and organized reception area
  • Support peer training for new employees

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of customer service or healthcare related experience
  • Intermediate level of computer proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a receptionist in a healthcare setting
  • Experience working with electronic health records
  • Knowledge of minimal medical terminology
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with healthcare providers
