Key Responsibilities
Supervise a small group of physical therapists, aides, and students
Evaluate and treat a broad spectrum of patients
Attend team meetings and contribute to patient care and discharge planning
Communicate with family, case managers, and health insurers
Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment attendance
Develop and implement treatment plans
Educate patients and families on self-care and wellness
Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
Graduation from an approved school of Physical Therapy
At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapist I
BLS - Basic Life Support Certification
Current Licensure with the California Board of Physical Therapy
