Join Care Partners as a Medical Director in Addiction Medicine, where you will lead the integration of behavioral health and addiction services across multiple locations. This role combines administrative oversight with clinical responsibilities, providing an opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care and the addiction medicine infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee multiple site locations and provide leadership to Associate Medical Directors
Serve as liaison between behavioral health and primary care
Lead integration of behavioral health and addiction services
Develop and manage policies for Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
Oversee medical care in residential facilities
Educate providers on MAT
Support residential and outpatient staff with medical guidance
Required Qualifications
M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited U.S. medical school
Completion of an accredited U.S. internship and residency program
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a licensed primary care physician or addiction medicine specialist
At least 2 years in a supervisory and/or leadership role
Board certification or registration in Addiction Medicine
Valid, unrestricted California medical license
Eligible for CMS Medicaid/Medicare reimbursement
Active DEA license with X waiver to prescribe buprenorphine
Preferred Qualifications
Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
