Key Responsibilities
Oversee behavioral care and pathway planning for animals
Ensure high quality, low stress patient care
Lead and manage a team of behavior experts
Identify and facilitate research projects related to animal behavior
Develop and implement SOPs for behavioral care
Required Qualifications
3+ years’ experience in people management
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Comfortable with humane euthanasia decisions
Fear Free certified within 6 months of hire
Ability to work additional hours and weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in developing/overseeing research projects
Experience writing scientific publications for peer-reviewed journals
