Job Description
Join Cedar Point as a Maintenance Ride Mechanic, where you'll ensure the safety and efficiency of amusement rides through inspections, maintenance, and repairs. This full-time role offers a dynamic work environment and exciting perks.
Key Responsibilities
Perform inspections, maintenance, lubrication, troubleshooting, and repair of rides and devices
Operate machine shop equipment
Notify maintenance of equipment problems
Maintain inventory of equipment
Assist in the inspection, routine maintenance, lubrication, and repairs of rides
Maintain daily log sheets of inspections and repairs performed
Required Qualifications
High school graduate or GED
Must provide own hand tools
Must join Laborers Union
Good record and writing skills
Able to work at heights
Experience in electronic, electrical, and mechanical work
Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools
Ability to follow manufacturer's manuals and blueprints
Ability to pass a mandatory drug test
Ability to pass a background check
