A CT Technologist administers ionizing radiation for diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures using advanced computer-assisted technologies. They assist radiologists with interventional and biopsy procedures while ensuring optimal patient care across all age groups. This role requires registration with recognized certification boards and operates within a hospital setting focused on holistic and comprehensive healthcare.
No educational requirement
Must be registered in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) within two years of hire/transfer to the position.
If North Dakota, must have current license on the North Dakota Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) upon hire.
