Mammography Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) in a clinical setting
  
• Active ARRT (M) certification in Mammography required
  
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
  
• Experience with Hologic mammography equipment preferred
  
• Ability to perform breast biopsies is a plus
  
• Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations required (no exemptions)
  
• Eligible for New York state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
  

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammography imaging procedures using Hologic 2D and 3D systems
  
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout the imaging process
  
• Assist with breast biopsies and other diagnostic procedures as needed
  
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in Epic EMR
  
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care
  
• Comply with all safety protocols, HIPAA regulations, and state/federal guidelines
