Travel Nurse Manager – OR/PACU/Pre/Post-Op
Location: Bad Axe, MI
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: 11/17/2025
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week guaranteed
On Call: Rare call or weekend coverage only if an emergency arises
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Nurse Manager for a leadership opportunity in Bad Axe, Michigan . This position oversees daily operations in perioperative services, ensuring clinical excellence, staff development, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
Position OverviewOversee and coordinate daily activities across OR, PACU, and Pre/Post-Op Ambulatory Surgery departments
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and patient safety initiatives
Manage staffing, resource allocation, and departmental budgets
Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to maintain high performance and morale
Monitor departmental performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Occasionally float
Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in OR, PACU, or Pre/Post-Op Ambulatory Surgery — required
Circulator experience required
Strong organizational, communication, and team leadership skills
Certifications:
BLS (AHA) – required
ACLS (AHA) – required
Leadership role with potential cross-site support
Primary hours: 0700 – 1530 (daily huddle conducted at 7:00 AM)
