Key Responsibilities
Greet patients and prepare them for physician examination
Maintain current patient information in charts
Document sample medications dispensed
Provide oversight to vaccine program
Restock exam rooms and maintain inventory of medical supplies
Assist with office surgical procedures
Perform EKG and Spirometry as ordered
Report lab results to patients
Schedule and arrange referrals and testing for patients
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Completed a Medical Assistant Program or Certification/Registration as a Medical Assistant
5+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant or Nurse Assistant
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a medical facility
